A. Belaguli, Hassan, Karnataka〕 It is an enchanting hamlet situated about 25 km from Channarayapattana in Hassan district. The prefix Agrahara indicates that the village housed a large number of Brahmin Scholar families who were said to have been performing the Shatkarmas(adhyayana-adhyaapana,yajana-yaajana,daana-pratigrahaNa). But now it has reduced to a meagre 3-4 families. ==Attractions== This village gains historic importance due to the presence of a magnificent temple, popular as Keshaveshwara, and now known as Betteshwara. The village also consists of other temples viz., *Kattappa temple *Honnadevi temple *Someshwara temple. The two big tanks Honnamanakere(formerly LakshmiSamudra) and Nachanahallikere(formerly KeshavaSamudra)situated at the either ends of the village also have historical importance.
